Stansted Airport Chamber of Commerce

BAA’s Fire Service performed a spectacular water cannon salute for a retiring pilot at Stansted Airport last week.

Touching down for the final time on Friday (13th June), Thomsonfly Captain, Julien Evans, was honoured with the salute following 30 years service with the airline.

Two BAA fire engines lined up on either side of the taxiway and fired plumes of water over the Boeing 757 after it touched down from Palma, Majorca.

The planet is slowly dying and we all have a responsibility to do something! Sean will be taking us through what Down Hall is doing to become carbon neutral and more environmentally conscious and ensuring tthat hey impact the environment in a more positive way.

Working on 4 main areas, Vegetable Garden, Energy consumption and reduction, reduce and recycle and working with suppliers to reduce packaging, food miles etc.
